Wenn jemand einen Stromschlag erleidet oder der Reststrom des Stromkreises den festgelegten Wert \u00fcberschreitet, kann der Fehlerstrom-Schutzschalter die Stromversorgung innerhalb von 0,1 s automatisch unterbrechen, um das Ger\u00e4t vor dem durch den Reststrom verursachten Fehler zu sch\u00fctzen. Mit dieser Funktion kann der Fehlerstrom-Schutzschalter den Stromkreis vor \u00dcberlastung und Kurzschluss sch\u00fctzen oder f\u00fcr die unregelm\u00e4\u00dfige Umschaltung des Stromkreises unter normalen Bedingungen verwendet werden. Cuando alguien recibe una descarga el\u00e9ctrica o la corriente residual del circuito supera el valor fijado, el ELCB puede cortar la energ\u00eda autom\u00e1ticamente en un tiempo de 0,1 s para proteger el equipo de la falla causada por la corriente residual. Con esta funci\u00f3n, el ELCB puede proteger el circuito contra sobrecargas y cortocircuitos o puede utilizarse para la conmutaci\u00f3n no frecuente del circuito en condiciones normales.
